"Yeah test...." Naiou sighed. She hated test so much but she really needed to pass it. There was a knock on the door and Kamoku's grandmother came in with food for them.
Naiou was stunned that the woman could carry that tray with all that was on it. "Thank you very much." She was still shocked and all the food looked great.

“It is no problem at all,” the grandmother said. “You two need your strength so eat up.” The old woman turned and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.
Kamoku stood up from where she had been sitting on the bed and went over to where the food had been set down. She moved some of the dishes around, putting some of them farther away from the koi fish.
“Jupiter doesn’t like seeing the sushi,” the petite female informed the other. “Which is why a lid is on it as well. He gets pretty mad and starts banging against the aquarium. He takes note of everything around him even what I eat.”
She gave a smile to Naiou. “You can take whatever you want. I love all of the food she prepares.”

Naiou also moved to the food as she stared at it. "It does all look very good." She was still smiling about Kamoku's worry about her fish. It was very cute but kind of funny.
So Naiou looked and found something that she wanted she reached for it but remembered something and stopped. Just because Miyo wasn't there didn't mean that she could be rude.
The telepath put her hands together "Thank you for the food." Now she was free to eat something.

“It’s not a problem, Naiou. You are a guest in my home, and this is simply hospitality. So, just dig in and enjoy the food.” Kamoku smiled as she took her glass of tea and took a drink from it. She sat down, her own eyes surveying the tray.
Kamoku was lucky that she wasn’t very picky and that her grandmother made such wonderful meals. Perhaps that was part of the reason she was reluctant to move out of her grandparents’ house. The food was just too good to leave behind.”

Naiou nodded in thanks and started to eat a bit. It was really good. She smiled. It couldn't hold a candle to Miyo's cooking in her book but it was great and it had been a while since she had eaten good food since she didn't like to inpose on Miyo's hospitality.
"Thank you so much and for all the help that youare giveing me."

“I am here to help, Naiou,” the human girl said warmly. “I love making people happy; I love seeing their smiles. I am glad that I can make sure you have a full stomach and hopefully make sure you pass that test of yours that you need to be studying for.”
Kamoku picked up a pair of chopsticks and grabbed a few pieces of sushi quickly as if she was making sure Jupiter wouldn’t catch her. She then moved on to some of the beef and some of the pears. Everything tasted superb like usual.
“You came on a good night. My grandmother’s miso soup is some of the best in town.”

Walking down the sidewalk, Kurama's red hair swayed slightly with every step. Coming home from work was refreshing if it meant getting out of the stuffy office he worked in. Surprisingly, the sidewalk seemed emptier than usual, and only a few children were playing farther down the other side of the road. Emerald eyes were looking around, and he realized he forgot to turn off of this street and in order to get home, but he just kept walking.
'I suppose it doesn't matter, a break is much appreciated when I have to work there all day.' Kurama thought pausing when his foot bumped into something on the sidewalk.
upon closer investigation, he found a small black notebook. Bending down and picking it up, Kurama found it to be filled of drawings and doodles.
Of fish.
Raising an eyebrow, he saw some curled writing on a few pages, and concluded that the notebook indeed belonged to a girl. Flipping to the front cover, he found a label which provided an address and a name. 'Itooshii hm? I should probably get this back to her...'
Looking at the address, Kurama realized that the street was only a few blocks away, and it was just a matter of house numbers from there. Closing the book and tucking it in his hand, Kurama continued walking until he stopped in front of a house with a large gate and a porch.
Double checking the house numbers and confirming them, he put a slender and onto the gate and swung it open. Pools of jade locked onto the Shiba Inu laying on the edge of the porch looking at him directly. It was red with cream. On instinct, his fox self growled, but his demon and human side just pushed it off and Kurama continued on his way to the door.
As he stepped by the dog, the Shiba Inu made no move and Kurama was grateful he wouldn't have to fight off a snarling dog while returning something. Again.
Seeing the doorbell, Kurama instead knocked lightly three times with the back of his knuckles before softly calling out.
"Is there a Miss Itooshii present?"

The knock upon the door was quickly answered as a petite old woman opened the door. Her graying black hair was pulled tightly up into a bun on the top of her head. She wore an apron that bore the fresh stains of cooking supper. She had to look up to the man who had just knocked upon the door. She gave a sweet smile as her aged eyes looked upon emerald orbs.
“You must be another one of Kamoku’s friends since I am sure you aren’t looking for this Mrs. Itooshii,” the old woman said with her sweet smile still painted upon her lips. “Come in, come in.” She grabbed hold of the stranger’s arm and tugged him with a surprising amount of strength before he could protest. She closed the door with her foot.
“Seiryoku, go get Kamoku,” the woman command to someone in the living room. An old man with a pot belly, glasses, and a receding gray hair line came shuffling into the entrance area. He peered up at the stranger who had just been dragged into the house with interest before looking towards a staircase.
“Ting Ting! Your grandmother wants you to come down!” the old man yelled. The old woman frowned and glared over to her husband, shaking her head slightly.
Kamoku could hear her grandfather calling down for her. How strange, they never usually called her downstairs. Was someone there? Well, who would have been there for her? It was one thing for her to bring Naiou to her home; it was another to have someone show up unexpected.
“I should go see who that is,” the petite girl said to the other. “You can stay here and eat if you would like. I should be but a minute.”
The human grabbed a few pieces of sushi with her hands before quickly jogging out of her room. She ran down the stairs quickly, jumped over the last few stairs, and soon was in the entrance hall. Her blonde hair fell over her teal eyes, and she almost went face first into one of the walls. When she had recovered herself, she realized a stranger was in their house. She made wonderful first impressions.
“Oh, hello, what is going on?” Kamoku asked.
“One of your cute guy friends is here, Ting Ting,” answered her grandmother with a warm smile. “We’ll leave you two alone.” With that both of her grandparents quickly shuffled off to the kitchen, closing the door behind them.
Embarrassment ran across the girl’s cheeks as she looked to the stranger who, like her grandmother said, was rather handsome. She could not even make herself speak.

Kurama barely had time to say hello before he was jerked inside by him arm in an amazing amount of force for an elderly human woman. There was talking at once and he could only register the elderly man calling for 'Ting Ting'. Trying his best to stay polite, he put on a charming smile and bowed in greeting to the women.
A series of loud thumps and an almost face-to-wall collision brought him to where he was now. Standing in front of a brown-haired human with light blue eyes. He could see the flush in her cheeks and he acredited it to the display she made coming down he stairs.
"Good Evening. May I ask if you are Miss Itooshii?" Kurama asked, standing up straight after seeing the elderly couple dissapear behind a door which he presumed was a kitchen. He held the book out with both hands and smiled again. "Because if so, I believe that this notebook belongs to you."

Since her host wanted her to stay put she decided it was best to do just that. After all it would be rude since she was invited here out of the goodness of Kamoku's heart to and on top of helping with her test she was feeding her.
Though she was a little bit curious about who would be calling at someones house this late. It must be someone they knew well. She sighed and shook herself back out of her thoughts. This instantly brought Naiou in to a state of stiff alertness.
She had sensed someone else entering the house but until she had payed more attention she hadn't noticed at all how powerful that someone was. How she wasn't sure. There shouldn't be anyway she could miss something like that though the aura did seem a little deceiving.
Wary as she was of her own kind when it came to them being around humans she decided it was a just reason to poke around a bit.
Carefully she reached out with her mind to the place downstairs. This could be a very dangerous thing to do but she wanted to know if the visitor was a danger to her new friend.
So slowly and gently she attempted to poke her way through the demons mind.

“Hello,” Kamoku said quickly, running her fingers through her long, blonde locks. How nervous she had suddenly become. What was this sudden change in demeanor? The little human was having a hard time trying to figure it out, and she really had no time for such thinking. This stranger was talking to her and holding out a book for her to look at.
“I suppose I would be Miss Itooshii,” Kamoku responded with a slight nod. “You can call me Kamoku, though, or Ting Ting. I come to either of those names right away.”
Her petite hands reached out and grabbed the book. She at once recognized it as her own. Her drawings of Jupiter were within the pages and so was her poetry. How could she have lost such a precious book? It must have fallen out of her bag at some point. How strange. Nothing of the sort usually happened, well, with valuable possessions. The human was always losing pens and pencils but not books.
“Thank you so much,” she said delightfully, hugging the book close to her chest. “I don’t know how I lost it. Where did you find it? It doesn’t even matter where you found it; I am really in debt to you now. This book means so much to me. I would have fallen over dead if I had realized it was lost. Thank you!”

The Kitsune instantly felt the probing at the recesses of his mind. Fortunately, his mind barriers were strong enough to keep Hiei and his Jagon out, and this little phsyic (sp?) wasn't much of a threat. He kept smiling as he handed the book over, knowing that the person probing his mind wouldn't get anything except a brick wall.
Focusing on the girl, he smiled politely. "I found it on the sidewalk while walking. It was smart to put your address in the front of the book, otherwise I wouldn't know who it belonged to. However, do not be worried about being debted to me, after all it was no trouble."
He bowed lightly "How rude. I forgot to give you my own name. Shuichi Minamino, it's a pleasure to meet you Miss Itooshii." Kurama flashed her an award winning smile as he bowed, hoping that she wouldn't turn out to be like one of the wretched 'fangirls' from Meiou High...

Naiou frowned deeply. Usually no matter how strong someone was she could find a way in to their minds. Physical strength and strength of the mind weren't the same thing after all. But this demon had solid defenses in his mind.
This irked her. She didn't like other demons being close to her. She had learned long ago not to trust her own species especially the ones who lived in human world.
So rude or not she had to investigate and if she couldn't do it this way she would do it another..... Should she go down physically or....... hmmm it would be good training and she could probably make it back before anyone could reach her upstairs.....
She layed her head down on the table so that it would look as if she just fell asleep waiting for Kamoku. Closing her eyes she concentrated and a moment later she was sliding outside of her body.
She took in her own still form with a slight frown. Maybe she should get a hair cut? Oh well that wasn't important at that moment.
Naiou had only done this once before so she wasn't sure how far away she could get from her body but she could surely go right downstairs.
She floated right through the ceiling and then in to the room Kamoku was in. There was the demon he had long red hair and looked like he fit in pretty well with human society but then again that could be deceiving. She couldn't get a good look at his face however because she didn't know if she could be seen or sensed by other demons when she was like this.

Kamoku bowed slightly as she responded. “It is nice to meet you as well, Mr. Shuichi Minamino,” she said with a smile. “But I do owe you. This book means so much to me, and you came all the way here to return it to me. You should at least stay for some dinner.”
Speaking of dinner… Those pieces of sushi were now smashed between her fingers. Kamoku quickly turned her head and stuffed the sushi in her mouth in a quick motion. The petite girl tried to quickly swallow the food, but let out several coughs as she was more or less choking herself. Smooth, Kamoku-san. Very smooth.
Old One Eye, the cat who was missing an eye, came strolling into the entrance way. She jumped up onto Kamoku’s shoulder and moved downward to one of the girl’s hands. The cat started licking at her sushi scented fingers.
“But I insist you come eat with us,” Kamoku continued, moving her attention away from the cat on her arm and back to Shuichi Minamino. “It would be no hassle at all.”

Food? That certainly sounded pleasant. He had skipped breakfast this morning, and had some Miso soup for lunch. However, seeing the girl shove smashed sushi (Say that 10 times fast lmao) into her mouth almost made him raise an eyebrow.
Smiling, he replied "Ah, dinner sounds most delicious. I will say that I would be delighted to join such a pretty lady for dinner." Who says flattery gets you nowhere? Kurama flashed pearly teeth - completely ignoring the blue - haired spirit floating next to him.
Kurama had seen her since she floated through the ceiling, and his curiousity began to prickle. Who was this demon invading his personal space? Either way, at some point he was going to find this demon and see what had perked it's curiousity about him. Kurama looked expectantly at Kamoku to lead him to an area of dining.
