"There isn't much I can do to find out the truth. I don't even no where she's buried let alone how to figure out what went wrong and how she ended up dead....." supposedly her mother had been strong and she didn't understand how someone could murderer her when she was a demon.
"My only guess would be that the two incidents are related somehow I mean why would they be separate. Regardless of the fact that I wasn't killed........" Well at least physically. Spiritually and emotionally maybe mentally she felt only half alive sometimes.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't be dumping this on you. I thank you very much for the offer of a place to stay but I couldn't do that to you. We just met and it would be weird for you not to mention that I would just be causing you trouble." Her face went back to being more peaceful and happy. She was pulling her thoughts out of depressing ones about her past and circumstances and her usually cheerful manner was resurfacing.

Not knowing where to start. He knew exactly how she felt. He has been an investigator for a few years now but he still had no more leads on his sister. It was impossible to examine the body any more either, after all... she died over ten years ago. He took in what she said, but for once didn't look at her while she spoke. Instead, he kept stirring his coffee with the straw. It had been a while since he looked into his sister's case. So as she spoke he tried connecting it with his own thoughts.
"No, don't apologize. I understand very well what you are saying," he said. "And you wouldn't be causing me any trouble. It's not much, but it will save you from sleeping on the streets."

"I don't know. I mean to have a stranger in your home would be pretty weird wouldn't it....." Though if she was being honest she really did want to accept the offer. There wasn't really anywhere else for her to go after all.
It would either make her father worry more or it would put him at ease. He apparently trusted Seido otherwise why would he ask him for a favor instead of an expensive Private investigator....
"Hey.... Have you and my dad met before this or something?"

It would be just as awkward for her as it would for him. She trusted him enough to tell her story to him. So it shouldn't be that bad. With her condition it would be hard for her to go anywhere else. Since he knew the whole story, it would just be easier for her to stay with him.
And it wasn't like she was just going to become his house keeper. She could leave and do what she wanted for the day. It was just somewhere so she wouldn't be sleeping on the streets, or anywhere worse then that.
"No. He was having trouble with the secretary so I stepped in."

"Oh I see." That didn't make any sense. Why had her father gone to the police instead of asking for more expensive help? There had to be something behind it.
"I guess I really don't have any better offers do I. I will assume that you have good morals since you a police officer." She gave him the slightly coy smile like when she had tried to start up the debate earlier on the street.

He snorted. He wished that what she said was true. That was how it was suppose to be. The police should be enforcers of the peace. They shouldn't use their power for the wrong reasons, or claim they are better when they are not. But it was something that did happen.
"I have good morals for my own reasons. It has nothing to do with being a police officer." He said vocalizing his thoughts. "Though... I'm happy you think it should be that way"

She gave a slight sigh at the fact that he hadn't taken her slight sarcasm in. This was going to be very interesting to say the least. But he father was a pretty good judge of character if he trusted this man than so did she. Besides she was probably stronger than he was. If he wanted to try anything she could fend for herself.
"Good to hear." She tipped her cup to see if anymore would trickle down for her to taste.

"I'm sorry." he said. "I take that subject very seriously... I had a bad experience with the police not doing their job, and that is why I am here today." That sum up probably made no sense. He hasn't really tried to bring up the incident, especially not to people he didn't really know or when it was not vital to make a connection.
He looked down then noticed that his own coffee was nearly gone. Now all that was left was a bit of wispy coffee with walnuts jutting out. "It is a bit of a walk till we reach my car. So if you want to reach my house before night fall we should get going."

"I see." She looked a little perturbed. He was a very serious person wasn't he. The vague story peeked her curiosity but he didn't say anymore.Oh well at least he was kind enough to offer her a place to stay. She would have to work at finding some kind of job where she could keep her coat on.
"Well lets get going then. You know now that your not in the middle of a mind bending experience."

He gave her a smile though. "Don't worry. That's about the only thing that bothers me. Maybe I'll tell you why later," he said trying to lighten the mood but it was obvious that the more he talked about it the less he wanted to be happy.
He stood up still holding the same smile trying to forget what was currently on his mind. "I feel much better now. As long as you don't eat me once we're alone." He lead her from the coffee shop after leaving a tip on the counter.
"It might take as about an hour to get back..." he said with a bit of embarassment. "I was going in a circle"

"No thanks I had human last night." She grinned to make sure he knew she was joking. After all she was going to be staying at his house and didn't need to be creeping him out.
"About an hour? Sounds OK to me. It'll be the first car ride I remember anyway so it should be interesting."
"Hey do you have a TV" She asked suddenly as she followed him out the door of the little cafe.

He laughed. Her wing didn't bother him at all once he got use to it. But that was also while it was covered. Let's see what it will be like once they are back at his place. It shouldn't be to bad though. If anything, it will be the scar that bothers him the most. Who could do that to such a little girl... wait... he knew that answer already.
First car ride...? He tried not to give her a look but it was really hard. She really did live a sheltered life. "Uhh... Yeah, I have a TV. It doesn't have many channels though." He said regaining himself a bit.

"If it gets the channel you wouldn't mind me watching a show would you?" She doubted that he would but it was only polite to ask. She was still following him and looking forward to the ca ride. It probably wasn't even all that exciting of a thing but to her it was.

She wanted to watch a show? That's a bit better. At least she had some modern technology in her life. Perhaps that's the only way she managed in the city for being hidden away for so long.
"Feel free. At least then someone will be using it." They continued on for a bit before his curiosity got the better of him. "What show is it anyway?"

She smiled at the fact that she could use. Then he asked what show. She blushed heavily and looked down suddenly going a little shy. "Don't laugh ok."
"I sort of watch this anime called Inuyasha......" She didn't know if he had ever heard of it but if he had then he would probably understand why she found it appealing. She wasn't usually in to anime or TV in general most of the time but this show just caught her from the first time she watched it. She had actually come in on it a few episodes in and she hadn't even see the beginning of the episode but it was probably where she first saw it that got her hooked.
His father was all demon, But Inuyasha's only half...... If one part is one thing than his other half is... Human?
She came in right on that line and that was all it took for her to be engrossed and now she was a die hard fan.
