An anime was it? He had watched a few anime with his sister. She was more of a fan of manga just because anime usually leaves a lot of detail out. The only anime she ever watched was ones that were either somehow better than the manga, or didn't have a manga to be compared to. But that name sounded familiar...
"Inuyasha... Inu-ya-sha..." He continued to quietly mutter the name as he thought. Why did it sound so familiar? But after a few minutes he shrugged it off. It didn't really matter he supposed. "Now, why would I laugh at that?"

"Well....... I heard a lot of the servants talking about it when they thought I wasn't there. they thought it was strange for a teenage girl to be so obsessed with a cartoon......"
There were many other things that the servants said when they thought she wasn't around as well but she was going to keep those comments to herself. How many times had she heard them talking about her and her mother, wondering how in the world her father had ended up trapped with a freak fora daughter..... at least his wife was out of the picture right?
She shook her head to clear it. "It's not much of a kids show though."

A teen obsessed over the show seemed much more accepting then a child. At least in some cases. Miyuki was definitely a budding Otaku. But since she started out so young, many of the kids were ignoring it well enough. But while the kids were watching more child oriented anime. She was striving for the more teen subjects.
"I don't think it is odd at all."
Some how the trip back to the car was much shorter then he thought it would be. Was the car just that close or did time just fly? He was almost disappointed that the car came up so quickly. Till he remembered that she was coming home with him.
It wasn't a fancy car, but it wasn't any cheap thing either. It was just the average middle class vehicle that was maroon to a dark red in color.

Her smile came back almost brighter than before. That was good After all if she was going to be staying with him she didn't want him to think she was odd.
"I like your car." She smiled again. It wasn't anything compared to the cars that he family owned but she liked it more that way somehow.
She walked around it to look at more of it. This was going to be her first remembered car ride and she wanted to remember it vividly. As she walked she started to hum a tune.

He watched as she circled the car. He didn't think it was anything special. But he didn't really want an anything special car. Though, he did drive it quiet often to get to the crime scenes. Now that he thought aobut it he would be rather bothered if an investigator showed up in a slim sleek car. It would just give an odd vibe. Just like an old beater would.
"Thank you." Once she came back toward the passanger side he opened the door for her. However, instead of waiting for her to get in, he went ahead and walked around to the driver's side. Normally, he would have closed the door. But this might be a good change of pace for her.
The interior of the car had the smell of a coffee shop. He never was really aware of that till now. Perhaps he did drink a bit too much coffee.

She happily climbed in and took a minuet to get herself situated. Then closed the door. She took a deep breath and got an interesting mixture of Seido's own scent and the smell of coffee.
"Smells nice." She commented "Guess you overdo the coffee a little." The smile turned from bright and happy back to the playful one as she teased him. She had never had anyone to tease before. Maybe staying with him would be a lot like having a friend.
Kotone pulled the seatbelt on as she started to hum again and looked out at the street from the window.

He wasn't sure if he flushed or not with that comment. Even if he did he recovered quick enough. He had to make some kind of come back to what she said. Normally he wouldn't, but right now... it was beyond necessary. "Don't tell me you want me to go to rehab too," he said continuing the tease at his own expense.
Slowly he pulled from his parking spot. With much looking he eventually pulled onto the main street and started to head to his apartment

She kept her eyes on the street as it started to pass them by. If she had been just a little younger she might have thrown all dignity aside and bounced in her seat. But as it was she kept pretty still.
"Nah if you want to put way to much caffeine in your system that your business. At least it smells good unlike some addictions. Though if all you have in your home is coffee we may have a problem. Because unlike yours my blood isn't made of caffeine."
She took on the same tone she had used while trying to start the moral debate. Teasing was fun it really was. Kotone felt like she was on a high from all the newness around her. Maybe her adrenalin was going?

Blood made of caffeine? He didn't think that was true at all. But now that he thought of it maybe it was true. Not once had he tried to go any time without coffee... and probably it would be a bad sight if he did. But that wasn't the point.
"If I do what are you going to do about it?" he asked. It was probably obvious that he would have more then just coffee in his house. But since the conversation was going he might as well continue it.
The fun part about this conversation was the fact that he didn't have any coffee at his apartment. He could never brew it just as well as the cafe's so he was going to let them do their job... and steal all of his hard earned money. At least he wasn't going to die from liver disease that was caused by drinking alcohol to much. The only thing he had to worry about was hypertension.

One corner of her mouth lifted up in a playful smile. "Oh I'll just have to improvise." She said it cryptically and the smile stayed in place.
Then sh looked back out the window to continue watching the scenery go by. It was fascinating. No wonder humans invented them it was so much faster than walking.

Seido looked to her as she answered. He couldn't watch her for long as he had to watch the rode at the same time. Green light means go not sit and talk to the person next to him. He continued driving thinking about his reply back.
"Then you better start improvising. We are almost there," The streets were much thinner as it was getting rather late now. He took a turn into the parking garage then started searching for a spot. Of course now he wasn't going to get anywhere close to a good one.

She fell silent as she watched the street and than the other cars in the parking garage go by. It had certainly been a very interesting day. All that walking and the emotinalness had actually made her quite tired. she wasn't used to actually doing things.
"Is it nice to live life like a regular person? You know go outside, go to school, or work in your case. Meet with friends and just be able to goof off with them and have a good time?" She seemed to have slipped back in to a more serious mood.

The maroon car pulled into a parking spot. It wasn't on the roof, thank goodness, but it definitely wasn't on ground floor. Seido causally but quickly turned to her when her playful mood changed suddenly. And he was hoping for a fun reply to him saying he had no food.
"I would say it is, though I don't have very many friends to goof off with. Though, times get difficult sometimes, but that is a side effect of being normal. Whatever normal is."
Seido climbed out of the car and took out his bag from the back. At least there was an elevator to get down to the ground floor, and the same for getting back up onto his floor, which was still quiet a few floors up.
"My apartment a bit of a walk to get to as well," he said as they traveled to the adjacent building and up to his room.

She nodded and followed him as she continued in her thought process. The Truth of the matter was that she would never ever be normal. There was just no help for that. So why should she even try.....
Kotone shook her head to try and clear the sudden depression that set over her. She wished so many times in her life that she had been born either a human or a demon not part of both. She would never fit in but..... wasn't there merit to being who she was? What was the best thing about her, about Kotone Hane?
Her voice? She did love to sing and it had always been something that her father praised her for...... Forgetting that she was following someone to their home she hummed a few notes to test her voice before starting the first song that came to mind.
[glow=red,2,300]Tell me babe, how many do I shed my tears? Every Heart Every Heart is not a gentle yet
Shall I do? I can never say my loneliness Every Heart doesn't know so what to say oh what to do was afraid of darkness cause I felt that I was left alone So I prayed for help to (the) distant million stars
Round & Round the planets revolve round the sun And we always seek after love and peace Forever more Growing growing woe baby we can work it out Look up at the sky Every Heart is shining all today[/glow]

What was normal that was a really good question. He could say that his normal life ended long ago. His whole family's life changed that day. It was an every day struggle for his parents to be normal.
But then what was normal. He wasn't nearly as bad off as this girl was. Her mother was murdered, and she was, in some degree, crippled. Then on top of that she was sheltered. To the point that she didn't know how to do anything in today's society.
The sound of music finally brought him out of his thoughts. He slowed down and turned around hopefully not being to obvious to have her stop. She had a lovely voice and somehow, he recognized the song. It had been years since he heard it... now what was it...
He didn't try to remember after a few seconds. Listening to her sing seemed far more important and entertaining then to figure out where it was from.
