Stroll down the street

[Miyo]

Miyo smiled as she walked down the street. Another day of school was done and now she was on her way to the store to pick up dinner for that night. Her parents were away so Miyo was taking care of herself as well as Miyu. Her little sister couldn't really cook very well at all so it was her responsibility to make sure that the 14 year old got a good meal.

She was practically skipping and her short hair bounced a little bit the ribbons ruffling in the wind. She was such a feminine girl no one would ever expect her to have anything unusual about her. But as she went down the street the girl stopped and watched something that no one else could see go by. There was a ghost floating down the street muttering to it's elf.

Miyo felt sorry for it but there wasn't anything she could do.So she reluctantly turned and continued on her way to the store.

[Sythe]

The sound of wheels grinding against the ground could be heard. Unfortunately for Miyo she had been paying too much attention to the ghost grumbling to itself, when she looked back she almost seen a woman in front of her on a skate board, seconds before hitting, the woman grabbed the skate board hopping off of it and she stared at the girl with cold blue eyes. Miyo would have never have seen eyes that blue, they almost shined. The woman was staring towards Miyo, annoyed look on her face. She crunched up her nose in disgust, and she put the skate board on her shoulder, as she stared down towards the girl.

”Are you stupid or something? You were pretty much asking to get hurt. Watch where you are going.” she ordered the human, her arms crossing Miyo saw on the womans arms, a tattoo burned into her wrist. In kanji it said “forgotten” the woman looked really scary if anything. She sighed, then rolled her eyes, too the girl. Her nose twitched, something was different about this one...something was more..inhuman. She paused then tilted her head to the girl, blinking a few times like a confused puppy would do. It was oddly adorable.

[Miyo]

Miyo looked surprised about almost being run over. Her big eyes grew wider but luckily the skate border stopped. Then started to yell at her.

It was a lucky thing Naiou wasn't there she would have punched the woman in the face for talking like that to her. Her best friend tended to be a little over protective.

"I'm sorry!" She bowed in apology to the odd woman. She said odd not in a bad way but meant it that there was just something odd. She got that feeling about people from time to time in fact Naiou felt that way to her too. She had ye to figure it all out.

She looked up from her bow to see the woman staring at her in confusion.

[Sythe]

She took a step back, so the woman wouldn’t head butt her on accident. Her eyes widened. She would just have to figure it out later. She looked to the woman, then snorted before skating past her in annoyance. ”Be careful.” she muttered darkly, as she skated away and turned the corner. She turned another corner in a dark alley way, she sighed and hid her skate board. She looked around then sighed softly, as she kicked her skateboard behind three garbage cans. Then she sighed again, cracking her back. She got a good whiff of the girl’s scent.

Disgusting cracking noises could be heard, as she was thrown on her stomach. Her arms elongated, along with her jaw, and the sound of her vertebrae cracking and growing could be heard .Soon laying on the ground was not a woman, but a rather large black dog. She took a step out of the alley way, and her nose twitched, her fur glistening blue under the sun light. As her fluorescent blue eyes glanced back and forth. Her head leaned up, and her nose twitched. She caught scent of the woman, and ran towards it. Running then skidding to a stop, ten feet away from the woman, then she walked slowly, her ears down, and her tail dragged along the ground.

[Miyo]

Miyo shrugged of the woman's abrupt departure. She continued on her way to the store and ended up getting quite a lot of food. Miyu had a very big appetite lately and it was so odd. But then again She was at that age were she was growing so maybe it made sense. Miyo couldn't remember if she had ever gone through a phase like that.

So then it was time to be going home. She exited the store when she started to feel it again. There was someone following her. Hoe she knew that... well she didn't know. But she always did it was just one of those things. So Miyo turned to find out who was behind her. To her surprise instead of a person she saw a dog.

This made the girl's face light up. She loved animals. So she kneeled down in a way that kept her school uniform skirt covering everything and offered a hand in the dog's general direction.

"Hey there girl." She greeted with a smile. "What are you doing following me? Are you hungry?" Miyo reached in to her grocery bag and pulled out some of the food offering it to the dog.

[Sythe]

Sythe paused, and sat down staring at the girl. She then slowly walked towards Miyo, what a foolish girl. She thought to herself, as she took the food out of the girls hands nicely. Sitting down as she ate it. Her nose twitched. Oh no. Don’t they know how to stop?! She thought annoyed, as she turned around standing in front of the human, the fur on her tail and body bristled up, and her lips parted to let out a nasty snarl, this girl was rather odd, feeding a mastiff sized wolf. She didn’t care though, she growled darkly.

Then out of the corner, two rather large men walked around. Ogres. She growled acidly and they stopped. “I knew it was you! I know those eyes any where, Sythe!” The larger of the man chuckled. “You stole something from my son, his life” he spoke as he stared her down. She growled then barked acidly. Then looked to the girl, before running forward. The wolf was just a blur, to Miyo’s eyes. Then she jumped up, blood squirted every where, as she attacked the other ogre, the one who didn’t attack. She growled, her teeth clamping down on his neck, and he crashed to the ground.

Bang~

The taller of the man, shot at her with a gun, hitting her hind legs. She growled, then jumped at him, she hit the wall, as the man smacked her. She growled and smacked his hand with her paw, her nails falling off and sticking in his arm, as she pulled back, claws growing back. The ogre shouted in pain, his true for showing. He was red, and his teeth showed out of his mouth. He turned his attention to Miyo, and he walked towards her. Sythes eyes widened and she ran forward, shaping into her human for, as she grabbed the ogre by the neck and threw him in the middle of the street. ”I told you..to be careful.” she spoke, before grabbing Miyo, and running off, her blood dripping with her. She jumped up and over a fence. She had the scent of the girls house, but that would be stupid to lead the ogres there. She jumped up and landed on the super markets roof. She gripped her leg.

[Miyo]

Miyo had smiled broadly as the dog accepted her offering of food.
The girl really did love animals. But then the dog had started to growl. She wondered why but then she had sensed it.

She looked up and their were two men. They started to talk to the dog and then they were fighting. She watched in utter horror as the dog crushed the one mans neck. Blood..... never in her life had Miyo seen so much blood. It actually made her feel very nauseous to think about it. So she closed her eyes, frozen in place.

When she sensed someone coming toward her she opened her eyes back up and a scream caught in her throat. It wasn't a man after all... it was some sort of..... of demon.

Then the dog transformed in to the woman that was on the skate board earlier. Miyo looked even more shocked. The next thing she knew she was on the roof of the supermarket. The roof!

"This...... This has to be some kind of weird dream..." she said faintly even while in the process of accepting it as reality.

[Sythe]

Sythe didn’t know what to do. She paused, as she stood there, the girl looked pale and she began to speak.”Uh..erm..ca-calm down“ She spoke letting the girl sit down, she stared down, then sat down in front of the girl. Who was still shaking. She stared to the girl. What was she to do? Sythe was never good at this stuff. She paused, then sighed. She would have to do what her sitter use to do when she was afraid, and crying as a child, that was ever so long ago though..she paused then closed her eyes.

She started to sing. Her voice was soothing, and it seemed to be able to calm down anything. She hadn’t song in front of anyone at all. She stared to her bloodied hands. ”Fear is only in our minds,
Taking over all the time.
Fear is only in our minds but it's taking over all the time.

You poor sweet innocent thing.
Dry your eyes and testify.
You know you live to break me. Don't deny.
Sweet sacrifice.” she sang, then closed her eyes. Hoping the girl would calm down. She opened one eye and stared at her, an unsure smile growing on her face.

[Miyo]

Miyo did start to calm down a little bit as she listened to the song. It was a very pretty song and the woman sang it very well. Her brain continued to catch up with the new things in her reality. Apparently demons were real and she was going to need to get used to that.

She listened to the song until it was done and then took in a long shaky breath as her brain started up again. She looked down and saw blood which almost put her back in a state of shock but she held it off as she realized where the blood was coming from.

"You're hurt." Her brow furrowed a little as she tried to figure out how to stop the bleeding. Having nothing else to work with she took the scissors out of her school bag and cut a strip off of her shirt before moving to secure the cloth gently over the wounded area on the girls leg.

[Sythe]

She paused. ”Oh no it’s no-” she went quiet as the girl bandaged up her legs. She paused, it had been a while since kindness was given to her. She paused, and looked to her hands. Blood. She paused. Always blood on these hands. She thought, her nose twitched. More of them! She growled her head tilting to the side. The direction they were coming from, she paused. They had been leaving though, she calmed down her eyes closing, as she let out a soft sigh. She loosened up her tense bodice, then she looked down to the girl.

”I am sorry I got you into this mess, but the ogres are leaving. Let me introduce myself. I am Sythe, Half ice demon, Half wolf demon.” she spoke, then looked to her. ”I’ll take you home if you want, it will only take me two minutes at the most” she spoke and stood up, as she looked down to the bandage on her leg. An act of kindness...she paused, and her hand touched her leg. She looked down to the human. How odd, kindness. She stared off to the horizon, awaiting the humans answer. She blinked, then remembered humans couldn’t jump from this heights and land it. It has been a while since she’s been in the mortal world. She picked up the girl, and she jumped down behind the building, then she let the girl down.

[Miyo]

"Uhh thank you." Miyo said when she was back down on the ground. She looked around and the retrieved the grocery bags. Luckily they were still there. Her head was clearing again and she gave a big smile.

"I would love for you to take me home. Actually I wanted to ask. Would you like to stay for some dinner? I just remembered actually that my sister is said she wasn't coming home today I bought to much food." The smile was still in place. After all this girl had just saved her life so now Miyo owed her big time. Though she probably still would have invited Sythe to dinner even is she had.

[Sythe]

She nodded her head, she paused, then nodded her woman as she went leave she paused and the girl invited her to dinner. She paused, then sighed. She hadn’t eaten in a while. Why not? She nodded her head. She knew the girl’s scent now. She paused. ”Do me a favor...can you try to keep your food in your stomach.” she spoke and picked up the girl who held her groceries and ran off, in a blurr. Everything was just a mix of colors to Miyo. Then she skidded to a stop in front of Miyo’s house.

”Your scent.” she explained to the girl and she let her down, watching her just encase she wasn’t dizzy or anything. She stared to the house. It has been a long while since she had been in one of those. She paused, another scent. Like the girls had been in the house. Her sister, she assumed. ”Can you direct me to your nearest sink?” She asked the girl, she had to wash the blood off of her hands and mouth.

[Miyo]

"Yes it's in side and to the left in the kitchen." Miyo said as her head stopped the light spinning it was doing. She went ahead and lead the way to the kitchen since she was going to start making food.

"Go ahead and make yourself at home. It's just the two of us because my parents are away." She explained as she started to unpack the giant mass of groceries.

"Would you like something to drink" She asked

[Sythe]

Sythe nodded her head to the woman as she entered the house.She looked around then sighed, as she turned on hot water, she waited for it to become steaming, she dipped her hands under it, and started to scrub her hands, she scrubbed even when the blood was not there. Her eyes seemed to be blank as she did this. Her whole face was blank. She stared down to her hands, as she scrubbed, her hands started to become red. She then repeated the process with her mouth, and chin, it seemed to last twenty minutes, and she stopped. With a sigh, then turned to the girl.

”What was your name?” she asked quietly, as she dried her hands. She sighed softly. She shook her head no she wouldn’t like a drink. She looked to the kitchen table and grabbed a seat, sitting down. She sighed and leaned forward staring at her hand. The blood..it will always be there. She thought softly. Even though her hands were rubbed bare, that was how clean they were.

[Miyo]

Miyo ducked her head in a small apology. "I'm sorry I should have introduced myself. I'm Miyo Gekkani." She was smiling broadly again almost like when she was offering Sythe food when the woman looked like a huge dog.

She started to busy herself with preparations and pretty soon a rather large meal was cooking as she occasionally stirred something or added in an ingredient.

"I know there's a lot but don't feel obligated to eat it all. anything left over my sister will eat. I think she's growing cause that's all she does anymore is eat. And she still stays skinny so I know that she's at least burning it all off. " Miyo smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry I was rambling. "But oh yes that's were I was. Also don't feel bad about eating as much of it as you want. "
