Having lied once again to his mother about where he'd been headed, the bell above the tuxido shop gave an announcing ding as the ex spirit detective pushed his way inside. It was only 2 PM and she was already blubbering like some kind of retarded seal...as if Yusuke were going to go shopping for his WEDDING TUX with that following him around.
"Yeah, real classy." He thought with a scowl. He wouldn't've minded Kuwabara so bad though... Speaking of, where was he lately? Yusuke hadn't seen Kuwabara in weeks. Not that that was necessarily a bad thing. It was just...strange. Maybe college was turning out to be more of a drag than high school.
Scary.
"Heyyy kiddo! Keiko's father told me you'd be rolling in here soon."
Yusuke glanced over at the familiar store clerk, an older, well groomed man wearing...naturally...a tuxido.
"What's happening, Daisuke?"
"Love is in the air, my boy!" Yusuke blinked suddenly as the man threw his arm around his shoulders then put him in a head-lock, grinning big as Yusuke squirmed, "Come! Let me show you our finest!"

Takeshi was in need of a new suit, more so out of desire then necessity. Walking into the shop he immediately sensed the large spirit energy of Yusuke Urameshi. Takeshi knew the shop owner, he was a regular there so there was no need to be the new guy here. Walking up to the pair he interrupted "Good day to you Daisuke, and to you as well young man." he said with a smile. Refraining from revealing that he already knows who Yusuke is, not that he had to. If Yusuke could feel spirit energy as well as he pegged him for then he would sense Takeshi's already.

"Well hello Takeshi." The business owner said pleasently as Yusuke slipped his head out of his grip.
Muttering something incoherant about old people and personal space, the demon's attention caught on the stranger who'd walked up. "Well, you don't see that every day..." What rock had this guy been hiding under? It wouldn't have been as surprising if he had been a demon. The barrier had been let down and there was really no telling what was walking around these parts anymore. But a human? Yusuke hadn't seen a psychic so strong since Sinsui...and...
His eyes narrowed.
"Yeah...sure." The similarity was undoubtable. Of course, he'd never been too good at the "Aww, you look just like your blablabla" crap, but still, all the more reason for him to be a little curious. If this guy WAS related and was anything like that freak older brother that Kurama had hooked up with an eternal plane-ticket to hell this possibly could get a little hairy. Not that Yusuke was the least bit worried. He just didn't feel like messing up the one decient tux store around these parts and listen to Keiko complain.
The store owner's hand fell on Yusuke's shoulder, snapping him from his thoughts. "Yusuke here's getting married in a few weeks." He announced chipperly.
"Shut up, old man!" Now that wasn't cool. Yusuke hadn't figured out if this was an incognito bad guy yet.
"Hey, Daisuke, how about you stop gossiping and bring me a few of those suits." He said dryly, hands going into his pockets.
"Ah, of course. I'll be with you in a moment, Takeshi." And with that, he scurried off to the back of the store.
Yusuke's glare hardened as it swept to Takeshi.
"It isn't too often I see a B class psychic running around."

Daisuke's mentioning of Yusuke's wedding was wondrous news indeed. It brought a smile to his face, he was sure if his mother were still alive that she would be there for sure. "Congratulations Yusuke, I wish you the best in your marriage." His smile quickly changed and faded into a stern look back at the former spirit detective. He already knew apparently that he was a B Class psychic, very good.
"Very good Yusuke Urameshi," he said folding his arms behind his back "your instincts are still as sharp as ever, I'm impressed." he said. Taking a step back from him he cleared his throat. "I am here for more then just getting a new suit today, I am actually here to offer myself to aid you with the current string of psychic murders. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Takeshi Toguro." he said curtiously.

Yusuke's lips parted and a faint "tch?" of surprise escaped him, glare faltering....Well, what?! He hadn't actually expected to be RIGHT, people! That would be one of the first times he'd ever gotten a family resimblance off the fly right without hints. Yusuke WAS pretty good, eh? Though...getting past that and onto what was actually coming out of this guy's stupid mouth...The demon felt annoyance begin to creep over his shoulders.
"Yeah...see..about that..." His tone was dripping with sarcasm. "it's not that every Toguro I've ever met hasn't been completely awesome or anything, it's just all our positions for moles and backstabbers on the team are full." Yusuke wasn't necessarily telling him no; he wasn't one to judge. But...seriously? Where had this guy even come from? You don't march up to someone and say you're related to two of the more messed of enemies (one of which was a psychopath, the other killed your teacher and tried to kill your friend) you'd ever come across then ask to join them. That was like walking up and sticking your hand in somebody's cornflakes. It was just not socially correct.
"And the dumb*ss-who's-suspicious-as-h*ll slot isn't looking too good either."
You don't mess with Yusuke's cornflakes.

Takeshi frowned at Yusuke's apparent mockery of his father. His frown turning into a returned glare. "My mother would be striking you for that kind of remark dimwit." Takeshi said to Yusuke. His wits were sharp so the name would likely mean something to him, maybe not.
Pulling his arms out from behind his back he reached them both into his pockets. Standing there glaring at Yusuke who had just insulted both him and his father. "You know I figured you of all people would know Genkai's son when you were standing right in front of him. Guess I was wrong," he turned around and started walking for the door. "Another time Daisuke." he spoke up for the shop owner to hear from the back and then exited the shop and started walking down the street.

Again, surprise slapped him in the back of the head. Genkai was there in spirit, I guess. Yusuke's scowl faded at the name, staring at Takeshi now quiet as a church mouse.
"You know I figured you of all people would know Genkai's son when you were standing right in front of him. Guess I was wrong,"
No way...
No way!
"Alright, Takeshe. Yusuke I have your s--"
"Hey! Wait!" Yusuke darted out of the shop, shoving aside someone who'd just walked in and plowing through the door. "Toguro guy!" The ex detective's mind was whirling. This dude had better stop right there or so help him...
Yusuke spun Takeshi by his shoulder then grabbed him by the collar. It was more to make sure Takeshi didn't go anywhere than anything. "How the h*ll can you talk like that old man, Genkai doesn't have a son! She would've told me!"
W...wouldn't she?
"You have five seconds to start explaining this better before I knock your dentures down your throat!" A few people started to form a small circle around them, though Yusuke hardly noticed. He was angry but my lord, this was MAJOR INFORMATION people. It's not like he'd just learned Genkai'd had a dog named Yeller at one point in her life. He was mad because... because he didn't already know... Or, if it wasn't true, that this punk had the BALLS to start crap like this. He could see it though...Genkai's face in his. Or was that just his mind being stupid now that Takeshi had brought it up? Why wouldn't he have known?! Where had this guy been all this time?! [/size]

Takeshi knew how Yusuke was going to react to him, in fact he was planning on it. Anticipating what he did Takeshi laughed at him upon his command. "My my, loosing your temper Urameshi? How unfitting the king of the demons, but who am I to push your buttons? After all you did kill my father, if you follow me I will answer your questions. But this is neither the time OR the place." he said looking around at all the people.
"Don't mind him folks, I'm helping him practice for a play." Takeshi said with a smile as he shrugged Yusuke's hands off of himself. He then placed an arm around Yusuke's shoulder just to simply get him away from and out of the crowd without causing anymore of a scene then he had. "Just play along until we're out of here." he whispered to Yusuke not wanting his current gesture to provoke him off further.

Pout.
Big time pout.
Yusuke was most certainly not going to play along with his shinanagans. He didn't say anything though as this...whatever he was....(Yusuke hadn't quite decided if he was a dumb b*st*rd yet or not) lead him away from the curious sets of eyes, grumbling something ominous about all the death scenes in shakespear. Well lookie there, Yusuke HAD learned something in school! Someone had probably found a way to make a sexual joke about it.
He waited until they rounded the nearby corner to the outside mall place. Between the rows of stores was a large, cobblestone area with a water fountain, flowers and trees. Everyone there was far too busy trying to get their brats out of the water or their teenagers off the phone to notice the two of them.
The few minutes it took to get there gave Yusuke time to cool off and get his thoughts together. He leaned against one of the lamp posts beside a shady bench, watching a group of old people laughing robustly from across the flower beds without really seeing them. The fact that Takeshi, like every other person who knew him, hadn't really taken him seriously back there suggested that he was...probably...who he said he was. As did a few other things. But Yusuke was still in denial. "Why wouldn't I already know?" He thought again, "Was Genkai ashamed of him or something?"
He looked back at Takeshi with unamused eyes, deciding to give the question a try. "Why havn't I heard of you before?"

Standing a few feet away from Yusuke Takeshi was facing him and looking at the young man, his arms resting down at his sides. Yusuke asked all the right questions that was for sure, just not to the right person. "That is honestly a question asked to my mother, rest her soul." he said, he still had no idea if she were dead or alive right now. He honestly hadn't seen her or followed Yusuke since they fought the rogue spirit detective.
"My best guess is because of who my father is, the man you fought in the Dark Tournament. I'll be honest with you though, it wasn't even til the Dark Tournament that I didn't even know who he was. My mother never told me anything about him except that he was a demon." motioning his hands down his chest simply displaying himself (ooc: I have no clue how to explain it any other way). "Though as you can see I am not a demon, so it is clear that I was conceived before my father and uncle became demons."
