Well he doesn't dance. That was what he was thinking. It was something joyful, and he doesn't do anything of that sort. What Seido does is study day in and day out. He makes sure that people don't end up the way he is. Well, he found studying fun. He enjoyed completing cases whatever they may be. But he doesn't go drinking afterward. Just his coffee shops, which is where he met her.
Now Seido turned red. It had been a while since he had been so flushed and nervous on top of it. He watched as the girl's arms come up around him. And though he knew what to do next she beat him to it. There was a small smile before it disappeared to him being nervous. His hands slowly came to her waist.
Most of her next words went right over his head. They went into his head but were written to memory and cast aside for the moment. He just wanted to get the swaying down. After a few moments of the motion he started calming down.
"I don't dance," he laughed as he conquered the small dance. Seido had the courage to take on crime lords, but was too nervous to do a simple dance. It was as if he never had been on a date before.

Kamoku gave a laugh and shook her head slightly. “You do dance. You are dancing right now. See, look at your feet and your hips. You’re dancing, Seido.” She pointed down at his movements before giving another laugh. “You dance just fine.”
The petite human girl gently rested her head against the detective as she casted her eyes up at him. This was nice, she would have to admit. Her heart was pounding in her chest, but she was enjoying this. She relaxed a bit more into his shirt closing her eyes a bit.
The sudden smell of returning rain slipped through the air. The sky had clouded while they had walked, and the sudden sound of thunder meandered quickly upon the wind. A moment later rain started to fall in the form of a monsoon. Instantly the pair was soaked, and Kamoku was left laughing.

And that was just what he was doing. He was in fact dancing. Sure it was simple, but he was still doing it. There was no way he could be saying he wasn't dancing now. He was dancing just fine, she said. Slowly he relaxed more, after all, there was no reason he should be acting like it was his first time on a case.
When she laid her head against him his heart rate instantly jumped up again as her head rested on him. Seido swallowed hard but didn't look around like an boy looking for anyone that could see. They were alone in the moonlight. He wasn't paying attention to anything around them. It was as if they were in their own little glass bubble.
If only they really were. Because both of them didn't notice that it was coming till it was there. Jumped as the cold water went down his neck. And he laughed just as she did. And as all people do he looked up at the clouds as if looking at them will make them go away. Water splashed on his glasses but that didn't save his eyes from getting wet.
"Well this ruins things."

She laughed and shook her head. “No, we are just a little wet,” Kamoku said, smiling up at Seido. She took his hand, quickly pulling him over to a nearby tree. She took his glasses from his face and dug out a cloth from her jacket and wiped the water off, smearing his glasses in the process.
Kamoku slipped the glasses back onto Seido’s face with another laugh. “We should probably go back to your car,” she said, pushing her wet hair out of her face. “Unless you would like to go for another dance.”

Just as a dog Seido tried to remove the excess water in his hair by shaking his head. It didn't really work very well, but perhaps it won't drip as much. Just as he finished his glasses disappeared and he fell back to the tree.
"Don't loose those," he said laughing. "I won't be able to walk to the car, let alone drive it." But shortly afterwards his glasses returned. Other then a small adjustment they were perfectly situated on his head.
"I can't afford to be catching a cold." he said still chuckling.

Another laugh. She couldn’t help but laugh. When was the last time she had had this much fun? Kamoku wasn’t sure, but she was enjoying her time spent with Seido. She didn’t want these moments to end, but they needed to get back to his car.
“Alright, let’s get you home and warm before you get sick,” the petite girl said, taking hold of his hands. “Come on.” She gave a giggle before tugging him forward back into the rain and into the direction of his car. She started to run along, splashing up water and mud from the puddles along the sidewalk.
Kamoku didn’t mind the rain. She didn’t mind the mud. A shower was always waiting for her when she got home. Her teal eyes shifted over to Seido with a gleam that only could be defined as happiness glowing in them.

He was in the process of taking off his jacket before Kamoku dragged him out into the rain. Just as she laughed so did he. Though eventually he got his blazer off. But instead of throwing it over either of them, he just slung it over his shoulder. Now his once dry shirt was soaked.
This was the most fun he had in a very long time. Though he didn't jump in the puddles as she did he laughed each time they got drenched even more. Seido laughed and smiled as she looked back at him. "We'll both be sick tomorrow."
Eventually they came to his car which was now the only car remaining. For a few seconds he fought his hand through his pockets to find the keys that would unlock the car and eventually start it. As a proper gentleman, Seido opened the passanger side door. "Let me take you to your car. Otherwise, those books might get drenched."

Kamoku smiled as she quickly jumped into his car. She hadn’t thought to tell him that she hadn’t drove herself this far. She had walked there earlier with all of her books when there had been a break in the storm. She would just have to explain it to him after he got into the car as well.
The girl relaxed against the car seat before quickly sitting forward as if she was trying to prevent getting the seat all wet. She sent a sweet smile Seido’s way after he sat down in the driver’s seat.
“I didn’t exactly drive over here,” she said, slipping a wet hand through her drenched hair. “I wouldn’t want to be a hassle, but if you could drive me home that would be amazing. But I don’t expect you to go out of your way, Seido.”
She didn’t want to be a burden. If she had to, she could run home in the rain. Her books would suffer, but she should have brought a bag to carry them. Oh well. She had enjoyed herself way too much to be upset over such a thing. She had finally had a good time with a guy. Kamoku wondered what the detective was thinking.

Seido quickly ran to the other side of the car and hopped in. As soon as he got the car door closed he started the car and turned the vents every which way. Once the heat kicked in he would re situate them. The cold air he really didn't want on him right now. The soaked jacket was carefully thrown in the back of his car.
"You didn't drive? You must live close by then. It would be no problem at all. After tonight I wish I could do more." he then turned the vents and soon they were going to be blown dry. "Besides, what guy would I be letting you walk home in this. Whether you enjoyed it or not."

“You’re too sweet, Seido,” Kamoku said as she looked over to him. She felt a blush burning her cheeks, but she was hoping the darkness would conceal the redness there. “I really appreciate it. I suppose my house isn’t too far from here. Just up that road, then a right, and then a left.” She pointed forward towards the windshield.
Kamoku sat back against the seat and relaxed. The cold rain forced numbness into her skin, but at least the heat was helping a bit. She was glad for coming to her coffee shop and meeting the detective. She was already wondering when they would see each other next. She hoped they would.
“But thank you so much for everything. You are actually a lot of fun if you will believe me.”

With the directions that Kamoku gave him he navigated the roads as if he had driven this way hundreds of times. "Thank you," he said chuckling a little. "It's what I aim for..." He was teasing but in his good mood anything was going.
Now he was paying attention to the road instead of what the girl sitting in the passenger seat was doing. The detective was smiling as they passed street lights that briefly lit up the car before fading into darkness till the next light.
"Most people say I'm no fun at all," he said as he continued down the road. "But then... none of them have me go dancing in the rain."

“Well, they must not know you that well, then,” Kamoku said as they pulled up in front of her house. She looked out the window for a moment to see her dog Kuraudo-sama out on the porch. The old Shiba Inu raised his head slightly and peered over at the car, but that was all he did before resting his head back on his paws.
The petite girl wasn’t wanting to depart from Seido so soon. She had really enjoyed her time with the detective. And he had been so kind. What luck she had had in running into him on this night.
“I had a lot of fun, Seido,” she said to him as her teal eyes moved back over to his dark ones. She smiled a bit. She almost couldn’t think of anything to say which was strange for her. Tonight her mouth had been flooding with words, but now every one of them escaped her. “Maybe we will end up running into each other again, I hope.”

After parking the car Seido reached into the side of his door till he found the black umbrella. "That may be true... Or they may be right." Seido didn't sound too serious when he said this. After all, they both just had fun right now. But what was he going to do once he went home? He was going to go back to his usual schedule. No dancing in the moonlight or rain; no conversations in the coffee shop. Just Seido studying.
He looked to the girl in his car and smiled. He didn't yet respond to her last few sentences. Instead, he held up his umbrella. "Let me walk you to the door," the detective said. "We don't want those books to get wet."
The driver side door opened as he went to the back seat where the books were. He tried to juggle the umbrella, gathering then carrying the books all at once. Nothing was falling, but it didn't look to safe for either him or the books.

Kamoku let out a laugh as she saw Seido struggling to carry her books and the umbrella. She stepped forward, grabbing some of the books quickly. “You don’t need to try to carry all of this alone,” she said with a smile. “I can carry most of these.” She grabbed as much as she could before leading Seido up to the front door of the house. As they stepped up on the porch, the old dog looked up for a moment before resting his head back down.
So here it was. The end of their evening together. Kamoku had enjoyed her time greatly with Seido, and it was a shame that she would have to see him go. But she kept on the positive side. They would run into each other again. Perhaps for coffee and hot chocolate.
“Thanks,” she said as she took the rest of her books.

Without so many books Seido look a little more balanced. He already knew that this was going to happen so he didn't really fight it. Besides, he didn't think he was going to be able to hold all of them anyway, so it was a good thing she took some of them. Damaging one of these books would not have ended the night very well.
The detective eyed the dog for a moment before both of them considered eachother not a threat. He had yet to be attacked by a dog, and he didn't want it to happen now. Especially walking a girl to her door.
"You are welcome," he said dropping the umbrella to one side. "Tonight was fun." Whoa! This was starting to sound like a date now. When he came to this realization a bit of color came to his face. "We should do it again sometime." And yet he continued with the lines.
Then he got an idea. Quickly he started fishing through his pockets till he produced a business card and pen. On the back of the card he wrote his personal cell number on it. "Now I will know you haven't been murdered." Seido said as he passed the card to her.
