“Our world is actually pleasant. Why would it not be? It is our home. It is where we demons come from. It is much better than this world,” Ruhisaki said, taking a drink from his cup of tea. He set the cup back down on the table. The fire demon cared nothing about negative views toward the demon world. He loved his home world and he would always see it as superior to the human world.
“I think you have missed introductions, yes. I am Ruhisaki.”

Pleasant? That was the last way he would describe his home world. It was vile and everyone was out to kill the other. It was a constant fight; it was watching over your back every moment. If he had remained in that world, he was sure he wouldn't be how he was now.
"Yes, it is where demons originated. That includes you, me, this girl, and billions of E and D vermin." He couldn't complain to much about that. His forest was now surrounded by them. But now they respect him while before, in Demon World, they were trying to kill him. "Perhaps for a strong demon it is pleasant. But for others it's what humans would call hell."
"And I'm Yuketsu."

Demon world didn't sound like a very pleasant place with what the Yuketsu was saying. Now she was going to have to introduce herself as well. Really all she had wanted was to ask if they knew where to find a sand demon.
"I'm Ureihi." She supplied, not wanting to be rude. Making these two angry at her would be a bad idea so she was going to be as polite as possible.

“Humans can consider our world hell, because it is for them,” Ruhisaki remarked. “They should fear for their lives when stepping in our world. They do not belong. When I come across a human in our world, I make sure they get the treatment they deserve.”
The fire demon gave a laugh and took a drink from his tea. He was rather brutal to humans in general. He talked down to them when he was forced to converse with them in their world. When in his world, he treated them like insects. Ru would crush a human when he had the chance.
“There is no reason to compare worlds. We are all demons. We know where are home is.”

Perhaps it was good that Ruhisaki didn't understand what he actually meant by that. There was a reason he wasn't in Demon World, and in a sense, the reason was right there before him. There were demons that were stronger then him.
"That we do. Though it seems since the fall of the Makai Barrier there have been far more demons in the human world." Thankfully none of them were very strong. "Why do you think that is?"

Ureihi Shuddered at Ruhisaki's words. She was very glad that they wanted to insist that she was a demon if he really hated humans that much. Maybe she had some luck after all.
the more they talked about it the more Ureihi was sure she never wanted to enter demon world.

“There cannot just be a set reason for why there are more demons in this world. We all are our own beings. I happen to be fond of the taste of human blood. It’s easier to find a human in this world than our own. Why are you here, Yuketsu?”
Ruhisaki’s eyes flashed as he looked to the male demon. His eyes sized the younger demon up for a moment. The fire demon had a knack for reading other demons. However, he wanted to hear the demon’s reasons.
His crimson eyes flashed over to the female demon. She was still uneasy about all of this; this was easy to tell. She had a nervous way about her. Of course, why should she not? She was a demon who thought of herself as a human.

Nevermind... The conversation that he thought he had left behind he brought up himself. That wasn't his plan at all and yet that is how it happened. Perhaps he needed to stop talking before he did get himself killed.
"My reasons are my own," he started off calmly. Slowly he took a sip of tea before continuing. "But because you said yours I will say mine. I wanted to get away from the vermin in Demon World." Not telling lies would be the easiest way to get through this situation.
But this subject did have its quarks. Now he would know why the girl was here. That brought him a lot of interest. Before more could be said about him he turned to the ice maiden. "And what about you, Ureihi?"

"I was born here......." That was her reason for being in human world. She was a human. She had lived with her human parents until middle school when they had been brutally slaughtered. Her fingers nervously drummed on the table lightly.

Ruhisaki shook his head slightly at Ureihi’s response. “You are an ice maiden. Ice maidens are not born in the human world. You come from Koorime. For some reason you ended up here, believing that you are some sort of human with demonic characteristics. Perhaps, you do know why you are here but you do not say. Or you simple do not understand how you came to be in the human world. Either way, you are an ice maiden.”
The fire demon shook his head slightly, taking a sip from his tea once more before pouring more in his cup. It was rather difficult dealing with a demon who thought of herself as a human. Ruhisaki was half tempted to stand and smack her across her face.

She shook her head. Her red eyes closed. Behind her eyelids was a complete absence of color. It was beautiful and white and cold.
Her head shook again but this time it was to clear it. "I lived with my parents all my life." Whatever it was that was in her head was gone now. It was probably just some memory. She had always loved the snow.

They still couldn't reach it. The truth that the ice maiden hid somewhere inside of her didn't seem like it was going to surface any time soon. Or any time at all at what she was telling them. But the past of the demons he was with he didn't really care for.
For thinking she was human she was pretty strong. If she knew of her ice abilities she would be quiet formidable, at least, to him. Ruhisaki would have no problems at all. "The long past isn't really important," he said. "But to some of us, what brings us here is." Now he was bringing even more attention to the Ureihi.

Ruhisaki let out a sigh as his head ran through ideas. His eyes focused on the tea within the cup in front of him. One of his fingers on his right hand wrapped around one of his crimson locks of hair as he pondered.
“If you are so certain that you are a human, Ureihi, why do you not go and prove that? The demon world is just a hop away. What would it hurt to go there and point out how different you are from every demon there?”
The fire demon’s eyes wandered over to the ice maiden. He took in her details once more, his mind still wrapping over whatever thoughts were circulating there.
“Being a human and all, I could understand your fear. However, if I go with you or if Yuketsu here goes with you, you would have nothing to worry about. Other demons dare not to challenge me, you would be safe. I just want you to personally tell me how you are not like the demons you resemble. Perhaps, if you do this, I will help you find the one you seek. You are seeking someone, are you not, Ureihi?”

Her eyes closed. "Yes I'm looking for someone." She was starting to panic once again though. The air around her started to plummet to a freezing temperature once again.
"I don't need to go there to tell you how I am different." She insisted, wanting to avoid a trip to the world the demons called home at all cost. "I am have a much shorter life span, d am easier to kill. My body is much more fragile, I can't jump from nearly as high. I have no special powers, and My parents were humans."
Ureihi rambled of as much as she could think of. Her mind working to keep from being dragged to demon world.

It was honestly quiet amazing on how much she believed she was a human. There was substantial evidence that she wasn't human. It wouldn't have been quiet as bad if she believed she was a psychic. That would actually make quiet a bit more sense then being completely normal.
What was also quiet amazing was how Ruhisaki was actually taking great offense that she didn't believe that she was who she was. Yuketsu didn't really care what she thought she was. But it was making this a lot more interesting.
"I don't believe taking her to Demon World would help anything, unless you know where the Koorime's live."
