Flying up in the dark normally would've made it harder to find the people he was lookin' for, but only if they werent surrounded by miles of black forest and a beacon of light radiating from the fires. Jin grinned, his body clothed in his normal attire and his ruffled red hair looked almost black in the non-existent light. He had shot up from the temple where he was told that Urameshi and two other people
"So tha's where Urameshi be hidin'!."
Jin exclaimed, hands on his hips and laughing slightly. His elfish ears twitched, and in a split second he was diving down towards the firelight.
"OI! URAMESHI!" Jin Yelled, plummeting down to the ground. When he was about 10 feet from the treetops, he started to slow, and landed on his feet next to the Spirit Detective with a grin. a large burst of wind accompanied him, and the smaller of the two fires was reduced to a small, barely there flame before it started to grow again.
"Been a while Urameshi! Whatcha doin inna middle of da forest wi' these runts?"

Food bad for Arai? There was no such thing. The blood of this thing actually tasted rather good to what he was use to eating. It didn't leave an odd taste in his mouth at all. And it had a good smell instead of what he was use to eating. But Miyu knew what was best so he continued to help as well as he could.
Arai ignored what Yusuke said this time. It looked like Miyu knew what she was doing and it wasn't directed to him anyway. He was currently too hungry to really worry about it. To hungry and pain was starting to set into his muscles.
Then Arai perked his head up. Something wasn't right and he knew it wasn't. He could hear something coming... but it didn't sound like it was coming by ground. In fact it was coming by...
The red head suddenly was in their midst. The howling wind rang in Arai's ears and while he was jumping away from the wind demon he was also covering his ears. His pointed ears only caught more wind and dove it straight into his ear. If it weren't for the sound he probably would have stood firm, or at least stayed with Miyu.

He didn’t really seem to be listening at the time, probably more interested in the popping sounds in the fire. She reminded him of every one of those annoying kids back in his jr. high days. Yack, yack, yack, yack, yack. And….woops! D*mn not given.
”I don't remember you asking us to go hunting with you either.” He said flatly. And we all know how well that worked out. Let's not try to lock b*tch horns with the b*tch himself. Poor Miyu though; it wasn‘t her fault she (*cough* and most people) could only take so much of Yusuke‘s griping.
"OI! URAMESHI!"
Yusuke’s attention drifted upward in surprise at the familiar voice. Immediately after he grimaced and brought up an arm to shield his face from the wind and whatever it might be carrying. What the…heck?
He blinked, eyes widening and he lowered his arm to see, a boyish grin spreading over his face. ”Jin!” Thank God and all his angels…Yusuke started to laugh as he got up from his nice comfy spot, closing the gap between the two and immediately wrapping his arm around Jin’s neck and put him in a head lock. ”We’re here looking for candy mountain what the hell do you think?” Duh.
Jin’s smiling face right now was like a tall glass of ice water to someone who’d been stranded out in a desert for a few days. And Yusuke’s mood dramatically improved. Here was someone he could actually talk to that didn’t teen-out on him and could understand two words of English…couldn’t say the same about Miyu and Arai. Jin had been something like a brother to him from day one anyway and to one of the few people Yusuke could relate. So horah horah, the ex human’s sanity has been retained. You may all evacuate your storm shelters now.
"What about you? You have a green card back in your work-van?"

Miyu glared at Yusuke. He was really pissing her off and she wished she could do something about it. After all she got critisized everywhere else in her life it didn't need to happen here. She opened her mouth to retort when a demon suddenly poped out of the sky......
Miyu jumped up in suprise and imediantly fell back down from trying ot put to much weight to quickly on her still not fully cooperaeteing legs. She cursed herself under her breath and watch Yusuke and the newcomer react. Well obviously they knew eachother nothign ot get all worked up over then.
She looked bakc ot Arai feeling sorry for him with his senstivie ears.

Feeling himself be wrapped around the neck, Jin flew up slightly and flipped so Yusuke landed on his back. "And what inna blazes i' Can'y Mountain?" He laughed and rolled over so he sat cross-legged on Yusuke's stomach. He let out a heart laugh and put his hands on his knees.
"But I wunna mind if ya' did 'ave some of'a sweet stuff! Been a while since I 'ad any!" He remembered the sweet food wrapped up in 'da colourfed paper and made him all energized!
Work-Van? "No way! I'm here for 'da fun! Bored a' Demon World. Not'in but killin' and borin' stuff. Figured I would come 'ere and take a break ya'know!"
"Now than, who're the lad 'n lass? An' was wrong with 'im?" Jin said, hooking a thumb to point at the grey-skinned demon covering his ears in pain.
Darned if he knew.

Loud... He continued to clutch his ears closed till the wind dissipated. The ringing was still there which was driving him mad. But eventually that too went away. For a long while he just stared at the new demon. After all, for most his life he was use to any intruding demon or human as evil. And they already proved that not all demons here were friendly.
Slowly the blood soaked Arai walked over to Miyu. With Jin wrestling Yusuke to the ground, it didn't look like he was any threat to them. "Arai doesn't like wind..." IT wasn't wind he didn't like. Actually the gentle breeze was quiet nice. But when the howling started... And howling wind usually means a storm. And storms were the worst thing ever naturally occurring in this world.

Yusuke grunted when he landed on his back, though smirked all the same. "Oh I'm sorry you'll have to be more specific." He grabbed Jin's arm on that last word and spun the both of them so Jin was on the ground, Yusuke having him in an arm lock and a knee in his back, "How 'bout an arm break, does that work?"
He hopped up shortly after. Ah, all in good play. Yusuke sure couldn't let him get by with the last pin though. He glanced over to Miyu and Arai, shrugging at Jin's last question. "This is Miyu and her partner Arai. She's the new detective." He looked at her expectantly.

Miyu patted Arai on the shoulder gently then wiped the blood from him on to her shorts instead of leaving it on her hand. She knew he hated loud noises.
She glared at Yusuke seeing as she was still in a rather bad mood from the whole day. "And what exactly is that look for." The young detective snapped at her teacher.

Just as he was about to flip Yusuke down again, he was released. Standing up he turned around and crossed his arms behind his head, toothy grin still intact.
"How in'na world can'ya not like t'a wind! I's t'a best thin inna three worlds!" Jin said, gaping at the grey demon, moments before their names were told to him.
"M'yu an 'Rai." Jin said, testing the names on his tongue. And that was when Miyu snapped at Yusuke.
"Oi lass, M'yu, tha's no way t' talk t' your teach! Ya won' learn nothin' if ya keep flappin' ya lips!"

What was with everyone calling him something new? Was names not important to these people? Yusuke kept calling him Arnold and this new demon was calling him Rai. He thought going by two names was enough. Now he had four... well three since he wasn't called 003 anymore. This was going to be something he was going to ask Miyu later. Though, the gray demon already looked thoroughly confused as it was.
Not to mention, this new demon... He couldn't understand a word of what he was saying. He was also starving... And now he was in pain. Not just in a few places either. Everywhere hurt. Also, he had this odd sticky feeling all over him. The blood on him never bothered him before...

"Oi lass, M'yu, tha's no way t' talk t' your teach! Ya won' learn nothin' if ya keep flappin' ya lips!"
"Tch." Yusuke would've given a big heck yeah to that but he didn't bother. It would've been a waste of breath. Miyu didn't need the big boys ganging up on her anway. "Yeah anyway..." He said in his usual dry tone, eyes rolling skyward before he addressed Jin. "I take it you're gonna be in this world a while; why don't you camp with us tonight?" He sighed fakely and lifted his hands in a shrug. "I would say I have a job for you in the morning but I don't know if you could handle it..." Tehe.
"It's pretty dangerous."

MIT snorted at the newcomers comment. Really there wasn't much for her to say. There was no way for her to win an argument against her 'superiors' and she was fed up with everything right that moment. Since the wind wasn't killing Arai's ears anymore she tugged her Friend back over to the deer. She went back to attempting to figure out everything correctly so she could get the meat cooking for Arai to eat. Her own stomach gave a small rumble but she ignored it completely.
She did however keep he attention on their conversation. She didn't trust the tone in Yusuke's voice when he spoke of this so called dangerous job.

"I wouldn' mind stayin' 'ere for th' night. Is borin' at t' temple most'a the time." Jin said, smiling at Yusuke, and then the 'dangerous job' was offered. And Jin wasn't that stupid.
"Dun' think tha' I dun know whatcha tryin' ta do Urameshi. These ears aren' all for decoration ya'know!" He said, wiggling his ears mattter-of-factly. This kid was probably trying to get him to do something that Yusuke didn't. He floated up into his crossed legs positon and put his hands on his knees. "But I'll do i' anyway. A' long as I get sum'a tha meat!"
Looking at the deer and just imagining about the taste of it lightly cooked made his mouth water. He hadn't eaten since befor ehe crossed the border and then some. So almost 8 hours and darned if he wasn't starving by now!
(/OOC: Lol, he got their names right, its just his accent >.<\)

Everything was now going down hill for Arai. Pain was never something he liked. In stressful situations his brain had learned to turn off the pain receptors. So, thoughout the day he didn't even notice it. But... now that the stress was over. The pain was coming. His muscles twitched trying to keep themselves going despite the fact that they were at their limits.
As he waited for the deer to cook he continued to watch the new demon. Did he even introduce himself yet? Maybe he did... Arai couldn't tell. He was understanding less then a quarter of what the red head was saying. And the bits he was understanding made no sense at all and he couldn't form into a sentence. Most of it seemed to just blur into one word.
It didn't help matters at all that with his muscles being at their end, so was his brain. The only reason he was still awake right now was because his stomach was trying to eat himself. That was another pain he wasn't liking very much. "Pain...and hungry..." he groaned quietly to Miyu.
ooc:// and I know he's saying it right -huggles Jin- Just poor little Arai can hardly understand language as it is let alone with an adorable Irish accent

Smirking faintly in lue of future events, Yusuke gave a laugh at Jin's mention of the food. "If you can't catch your own food all you have to do is say so." He snickered, hinting that Jin was hiding his weakness behind his wording. Then a bit more seriously, he added. "You can have my rabbit. I don't think that deer is worth losing an arm."
It's not like Yusuke were looking forward to eating that piece of *ss. He may've known how to do such things (a result of being a spirit detective and his time in the Makai, ironically), but it didn't mean Yusuke was no less a city boy than he ever had. He'd just get a big breakfast on the way home.
"Anyway I have to leave in the morning; Keiko's made plans. You mind playing master sensi for a few of hours while I'm gone?"
