The day had just started, and the weather was promising to be a very warm. The sun was blazing down on the trees, the bees, and everything else that was in the forest. The woods would have been silent if there had been no birds chirping sweetly.
Kamoku Itooshii loved mornings before the day felt set ablaze by the sunlight. She would regret walking all the way out into the forest later, like she usually did, but for now she was content, walking between the trees with her pet Koi fish, Jupiter, in her arms. There was bliss to be found outside in nature on such a day.
“The creek is just a little while from here,” Kamoku was saying to the Koi fish who splashed about in his fish bowl. “There are always those pretty cherry blossom trees by the creek.”
The girl hummed to herself as she walked down an overgrown trail. She took comfort in the morning breeze that blew her plaid green dress and her pale blonde hair about. Today was going to be a good day. Well, maybe… In the moments that it took for Kamoku to close her eyes and give into the gentle warm breeze, she soon was falling down into a hole that seemed to be a huge sinkhole.
And along this great fall all the girl could do was try to keep Jupiter in his fishing bowl while yelling, “Oh my God, we are falling into Wonderland, Jupiter.” And then there they were, fallen upon the ground in some strange place somehow intact. Kamoku had fallen backward, landing upon her back with Jupiter, still in his fish bowl, upon her stomach.
There was a long moment of simply laying there upon the ground. Jupiter swam angrily in his water at the disturbance, and Kamoku simply looked upward. She did not mind the state of her being. Her hair was thrown about and her dress was dirty and torn a bit.
“Luckily, we went with the plastic bowl today, Jupe,” the girl said as she slowly came back to her senses. “But sadly, I don’t have a clue of where we are.”
Kamoku sat up slowly before making it to her feet. She had landed in a strange world, most certainly. She had thrown herself to the Demon World without realizing what she had done. She had never been to Demon World and to her this could have been any of the mythical places she read about in her books.

The day hadn’t even been up yet, but through out the woods the sounds of training echoed through the forest loudly. No birds found there way this dark into the forest. Not a lot made it through the woods, it was pretty cool compared to the rest of the forest, where not even the sun rays seemed to shine through the path, the trees seemed to eat out the sun light, leaving the ground look cold and hollow. It would seem that no animals would want to go this far in the forest, but still on each of the trees were war marks, from a different animal. From an animal that even a lion would run away like a coward.
A roar had been heard within the distance, making the whole ground shake, and the dark birds fly off in the distance over the ground. It made the trees stumble to the ground, and roll in front of her. In the distance, a large demon, it horns raging from it’s back and head, it smacked trees around looking for a meal...it’s dog like nose twitched. It’s blood shot eyes opened, and it came from the shadows. The monster had been black, and it had six eyes, pure red. It’s hair, no mane had been silver, and it had six legs, it crawled up a great tree, and it looked around. It roared, and the ground shook, and the tree it had been on, fell to the ground, taking many other trees with it.
It ran, faster then a human millipede, Out of it’s back four legs, like a spider sprouted out, and it paused, looming over the human. ”What...beautifully delicious human morsal you are....” Its voice sounded like a males and females put together, it brought it’s massive snout to her and it inhaled and it’s massive teeth seemed to chatter together, then a grin lacerated through it’s face. Going from cheek to cheek. It tossed until her body was in the center of it. ”I havn’t seen one in a while...” it spoke, and it stood up, on to feet and it loomed over the forest and her. Letting out a laugh that could be heard through out miles and miles. ”Dinner!”
~
Red eyes snapped open, a through the darkness, on a lonely tree, that had been secluded from the rest of the forest, it had been dying, large, one of the largest trees in the area, but it had been in a ditch. ”Hn” The light hit him, and the man stood up, on the dead branch he had been resting on, he had been abnormally short. His hair spikey, black with some high lights through his hair, white highlights. He paused, and his nose twitched. human? his red eyes widened and he darted off.

As soon as she had raised to her feet, she fell back down upon the ground once more as if an earthquake had taken over the land. What a strange place! Earthquakes already rumbling the ground beneath her feet. What to do! Now all that was needed was a giant something…
“You alright, Jupe Jupe?” Kamoku asked the angry koi fish as she stood back to her feet. “I am trying to stay on my feet. Stop looking at me like that. I cannot control the ground. I can only look at it… sometimes.”
A great beast was soon upon the girl, and again she was taken aback by the strange occurrence of this new world she had found. A strange black monster with too many legs and blazing red eyes was soon grinning down at her and licking its lips. Well, this did not look too good. Apparently there were boogeymen in this chapter book, and Kamoku had no sword to defend herself. All she had was a pissed off fish and sandals. Not really anything to defend off a bloodthirsty creature.
“I can assure you that I do not taste good a tall,” she said to the monster as if she was trying to persuade its hungry away from her. “I am all bones and no meat. Jupiter could tell you that. I also ate a lot of garlic today. I only smell good because of the body spray I put on before I walked out the door, but I must say I am nothing you want to eat, dear sir.”

The demon seemed to throw it’s head back, and it’s laugh shook through out the land again. “Oh, you are not for me my dear. Your are for my children!” It shouted as it’s laugh shook the ground again, and it seemed to scare away any clouds that seemed to be in the sky, it looked down to her, and slober seemed to seep out of it’s mouth. It then started to fall apart? Until there was nothing but small black liquid in the ground mixed with silver and red. The liquid then started to prick up, until she was surrounded by many, many armies of little black men, with red eyes and silver hair, spikes among their body.
She heard a scream in the sky, and silver creatures with red wings were floating over her, like ugly vultures staring down, with beady black eyes. They all seemed to laugh. Then they flew down, with in a blink of an eye.
~
The short man, had been darting through the area, following the humans scent. He paused, and ran forward, as soon as a demon’s teeth was about to snap around, the girls neck a thud could be heard. When the girl opened her eyes, she saw a bird on the ground, headless. There was boy standing in front of her, his fist out. He smirked, and he appeared human. Just like her. He had blood shot red eyes also though, he glanced back. No strong spiritual energy. The girl was pretty much just a petty piece of raw meat waiting for a pack of dogs to tear it apart. He stood there, the man seemed to teleport place to place, blood, green splashing every where. Within a matter of five minutes, the whole army that had been there. He paused and crossed his arms, standing on a few “birds” he stared her down.
Was he going to kill her? Was he human? Why was he so short? How old is this devilishly adorable chibi? Why did he just save her?
He stared to her, then his arms crossed.

Well, what a predicament she had gotten herself into, and she surely was not going to be able to get herself out of this dilemma. Somehow, this creature had morphed down to hundreds of little men, well at least he seemed to be hundreds of little men, and she had nowhere to run because of this. Kamoku had no weapon, unless the fish bowl could be counted as a weapon. So, all she could do was stand there with Jupiter and wait to see what was about to unfold.
In a few short minutes, however, a knight in shining armor came to save the poor damsel in distress, well, sort of… A man, who was even smaller than tiny Kamoku, started to destroy the little creatures as quick as lightning could have. Within a few minutes, all of the little beasties were destroyed, and the girl stood amidst a great mess of little body parts and green ooze.
“I think we are out of that mess, Jupiter,” Kamoku whispered above the water of the koi fish. “Luckily, I didn’t have to use your bowl as a weapon.”
Kamoku patted the side of the bowl before hugging it tightly against her stomach and looking up to the stranger who had rescued her from the little beasties. Well, this was strange and almost awkward. What was she to say to this guy? Thank you? No, it seemed to simple, but she had to show her appreciation somehow.
“Well, thank you, kind stranger,” she said with a bright smile. “I owe you quite a bit for saving me from those little beasties, but I have nothing to give you but Jupiter here. However, he does not take too kindly to strangers and may jump out and bite you if I do. So, I think I will just keep hold of him here.”

Red eyes narrowed. The crunch of the bones could be heard as he walked towards her, the green liquid oozing off his knuckles. It would have appeared he had taken out the demons with his bare hands. He seemed anything but a knight in shining armor. He had been dressed darkly, like those “goth” kids you see in the mall, except with out the chains and rips, in his clothing. He wore a white belt, that stuck out from his dark attire greatly. He had a head band around his head, and he stared up towards the woman. He had been ridiculously short, but he had been built not built to th point it had been noticeable, but built to the point you could tell if you really had to.
His arms crossed, and he was about two feet from her, the ooze on his hand seeping into his clothing. He seemed anything but worried about that fact. Apparently green blood doesn’t stain like red blood, or maybe he just didn’t care. He stared at her, and clouds seemed to finally roll over the sky, as if the sky had been breathing a sigh of relief. The sky had been Ceylon blue, and he stared to her. He then spoke up. ”Go back to the human world. “ he spoke coldly. If he had been a seconds slower, she would have been dead.
He then glared to her. How stupid was she? She had no spiritual ability. He sighed, and then closed his eyes, as he raided her brain, well it appears she had fallen here? What was this now? Alice 's adventure in wonderland?

Kamoku raised an eyebrow as she looked at this strange little man. Go back to the human world? Well, she definitely was not on Earth then. So, where was she? She still did not know. Maybe she was in Wonderland, or maybe she had died, or maybe she was having an out of body experience. Of course, if she was in the middle of life and death, well, she did not think this was heaven. If it was, well, God was neglecting to clean up.
“I think I’ll just go that way,” Kamoku said, pointing off toward her left. “Nice meeting you anyways.” She smiled before starting to walk away from this stranger. Her eyes fell down to her fish. “Shhhhhhh, he’ll hear us if you start talking about him now, Jupiter.”
Did she know where she was going? Definitely not, but she felt unwelcomed by her knight in shining armor. So, why not start walking away? Felt like the best plan.

His eye brow raised, and a smirk tugged on his lips. ”Your lost.” he spoke. She had to be, because she had been going to the forest of fools. Not unless she was trying to kill herself. His eye brow raised, as she spoke to the fish. His ears twitching. He growled, great. Last time he’s saving a girl. He thought coldly. But he would not hear the end of it, if kurama or yusuke would find out he would let a human fend for herself in this area. Especially since she was going to the forest of fools.
He took a step forward, and he stopped in front of her. He stared at the girl, she had been carrying around a fish bowl, with a koi fish in it. He stared to her. ”Your going to get yourself into more trouble then your worth “ He spoke to her, then let out a sigh of sheer annoyance.
With the scent of human, the demons most be on a rage mode. He stared at the girl. ”Come on, I am taking you back to the human world.” he spoke. As he started to walk off in the opposite direction she was going. He really didn’t care if she followed or not. It was her life on the line if she didn’t follow him. It was clear she had no weapons, and had not known how to fight...well fight and live. He thought. That and she clearly was not in her head..for having to talk to a fish.

“I think I am worth a lot of trouble, though,” Kamoku said rather cheerfully. “But why do you keep calling Earth the human world? It’s just Earth, and more than just humans live on it. I mean, there are fish, cats, dogs, birds, bugs…” She started to count off the animals as she listed them, somehow holding the fish bowl with her arms.
“…cows, chickens, lions, tigers, bears…” She shifted the bowl as she counted, starting over on her fingertips. “…pandas, sharks, fish…” She shifted once more before she let out a sudden gasp. Her fish bowl dropped out of her arms and landed on the ground with a great thud. The side of the bowl ripped and water started to seep out of the side.
Kamoku quickly leaned down and picked up the bowl, holding it with great care and worry. She cradle it in her arms as if it was a newborn who could start crying at any moment.
“Oh no! Jupiter!” she said, looking at the fish who was losing the water in its bowl.

Hiei paused, and he heard her start to count down each and every creature on earth. This must be why demons and humans never got along. He sighed as he heard her stop counting. Thank you. His nose twitched, a salty smell. His head turned, and he saw the girl crying over the fish bowl. He raised his eye brows, at that, as he watched the girl cradle the bowl, as water seeped out of it, like blood streaming from wounds. He sighed. He knew if he told her to get a new one, she would cry. He had been through her mind, she seemed to only care about that fish.
One thing to do.
He sighed and walked to the girl. Grabbing her fish bowl. ”Come on, get on my back.” he ordered. The girl would be light when she got on his back, he held the fish bowl. Then ran off, everything seemed to mix together as he ran. He was incredible strong for being some one not even half her height. He ran and then he stopped, kicking a few rocks in a stream so the fish couldn’t go anywhere. He handed the girl the bowl.
He crossed his arms and jumped on a tree. The girl would figure something out. That or he could just take her to the human world, and leave the fish. ”This isn’t the human world, this isn’t earth.” he spoke. It wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Not unless there were always demons in the human world. He snorted.

Everything went by so fast and soon Kamoku found herself in front of a stream with Jupiter’s fish bowl shoved back into her arms. She leaned down and placed the koi fish in the enclosed area and started to survey the fish bowl.
“I know this isn’t Earth,” Kamoku said as she sat down on the ground, sitting cross legged despite wearing her dress. She looked over the bowl carefully. She would have to get a new plastic bowl, perhaps one that was more durable. She had nothing on her to fix the bowl at the moment, however, so now what to do?
“I need a new bowl,” she said, disappointment in her voice. “I can’t carry him in this.”

He rolled his eyes, before they shut and he leaned against the tree. The girl seemed to be so sad. ”Dump out all the water in the bowl, and pack rocks in it tightly.”
It wouldn’t stop the leaking, it would certainly slow it down a lot. But he would have to carry her. That was all. He didn’t have time to care about weather the girl would argue or not. ”That’s all I can tell you.” he spoke, with a nod of his head. His voice had been so cold, so uncaring. Why had he even helped her?
His ruby eyes opened, and they watched the koi fish swim around in the stream. Apparently enjoying the freedom. He stared at it, then at the girl. He still didn’t see how this koi fish was that important. He walked to the edge of the stream then sat down. Awaiting for her to do so. His arms crossed and his eyes closed. He had been meditating.

Kamoku did as the strange man told her to do. What had she to lose? She had no other game plan so at least some advice was nice. Often she had to figure out everything on her own, and she usually found herself completely lost on what to do.
“My name is Kamoku Itooshii, by the way,” she said to this little man. “My grandfather calls me Ting Ting, though. My father apparently called me that all the time when I was little. Of course, I don’t remember; that was a long time ago. Oh, and this is Jupiter.” The girl reached into the water and ran her hand over the koi fish, petting him. He swam about beneath her hand, arching his back slightly.
“He’s usually in a better mood, but since we fell down that hole, he’s been rather angry at me. Tells me to walk with my eyes open since I can be so clumsy. I guess this is a good reason to listen to the fish.”

He heard the girl introduce herself and the fish. He ignored her. She apparently talked to the fish and it talked back. He ignored her also, his arms crossed. He opened his eyes. ”Get the fish in the bowl.” he ordered as he stood up.
He could have been training, or something. But he had to take this girl home. The longer they stayed there, the more of a chance he would run into a stronger demon. He couldn’t kill them and protect her from lower demons at the same time..well he could. It would just be rather annoying. He sighed and disappeared running around the area, no demons yet.
He appeared behind her ten minutes later.”Are you ready?”

The girl let out a soft sigh, looking down at Jupiter. She felt rather rush and somewhat saddened. She found a place that only compared to ones that she had read in her books, and now some stranger was trying to rush her back up into her world. Not only that, this stranger was ignoring her too, like so many did.
“Perhaps, I am ready. Perhaps, I am not. Either way, it really doesn’t matter to you, so I don’t know why you bother to ask.” Kamoku filled the bowl back up with water before getting Jupiter, reluctantly, to swim back into his fish bowl. She stood up and looking around for a moment as if she would find some sort of answer in the trees.
