I'm not a Bloodhound

[Rie]

There wasn't claws in her anymore. That was a little better. The blood continued to slowly drip down her arms to the ground.

Wait a minute. Did he just say Miyu wanted Rie? How the hell did that human girl know her name? Who sent her after her?

There was still one last chance to escape this situation. Maybe she could trick this demon into thinking she wasn't the one he was after. She hated to do it, but things should get straightened out later, she just would be long gone when things were fixed.

"I'm not Rie. I think the kid attached to my leg is the one you want."

[Sen]

Sen just held on for dear life as Rie was knocked off her feet. Roka had said to go for her tail but he was having enough problems just holding on to her leg with both his arms and legs. The new demon attacking her looked scary to the little child and her only clung harder to Rie's leg. When the fox tried to say that he was her he almost panicked knowing that the new demon could probably kill him easily. He let out a squeak and clung to the leg as well as the bag of shinnies.

"My name is Sen! My name is Sen!" He squeaked.

[Roka]

How did this get so out of hand? Why is there this human and her pet demon taking his really easy catch. Temporarily he was disarmed. When he attacked the fox the weapon probably stuck itself into a tree. Great. Not that he would really need it to finish off this group. Well, actually he wasn't sure if he could be so cocky. And with other demons so close he could easily get overwhelmed.

Well, this human had some odd morals. She was attacking him, but wanted to save the kid? Also she obviously wants this Rie alive, otherwise this wouldn't be an issue. Though he hadn't once seen what was going on. The noise would have proved if he hit his mark. Roka turned to see the dog pile of demons. Well that was interesting, but there was little Sen clinging for dear life just as he was told.

He smiled just as he felt pain in his stomach. Out of reflex he quickly jumped back. "Got a nice kick there," he said rubbing his stomach. His smiled returned but was more sinister. "Do you really want to mess with me girl. I have been killing demons since I was your age."

[Miyu]

"Ok Grandpa." She said her voice dripping with sarcasm. She put her fists up again and gestured for him to bring it. "Let's see what all that demon killing got you. I wonder if you're actually any good."

This is what she loved. She loved to fight and this could be an interesting one. He took hits well but he didn't seem to be to far out of her energy class. Miyu smirked a little. She was going to have fun with this and if it came down to it then Arai could help her. She wasn't going to let this guy kill her but she wasn't going to let him stop her from doing her job. She really really wanted that badge.

"Or if you'd prefer to just leave me to my business we can do that but it won't be as much fun." She moved her feet in to a more solid stance and energy collected in her hands. She was ready for any move he might make at the moment if he went for the pile of demons or for her she would be able to counteract him for the most part.

[Arai]

Why was it so small... Was it deformed? Arai continued to look at the little creature. It smelled of demon, so he at least knew that.

He wanted to ask Miyu what it was but quickly was distracted by the demon he was on talking. She wasn't Rie? But the small demon was? But the small demon's name was Sen? What? This was quickly confusing Arai. What was going on? He looked between the two trying to comprehend what was going on.

"Miyu...!" Arai called not paying attention to the situation she was in for he was too confused about his current one. The small one was helping him, so he couldn't be Rie...

[Rie]

Rie saw the confusion on the face of the demon and mentally smiled. This was good, she just may be able to get out of this situation. Her eyes widened a bit when he started to call for the human he had appeared with.

"Why are you calling her? I told you who Rie was. Why are you so confused?" she said.

This was not good. If that human told him who Rie was then he might retaliate for being lied to. She didn't need to be wounded any more than her arms. Running in her fox form would be difficult enough without anymore wounds to deal with.

She pointed to the little demon called Sen, who was still attached to her leg. "That's Rie! That's who you want!" she practically shouted, hoping to turn his attention back to her and ignore the two humans who were in the process of fighting.

[Roka]

Grandpa? Seriously? Roka hoped that it had nothing to do with his hair. Because for the record, he was born with gray hair. He mentally laughed at himself as he took offense to her comment. Normally he didn't take taunts, but since a human was doing it...

She could feel her start powering up. The girl did have a good bit of power. What was sad is that she might actually be able to take him. That was a hit to his pride. There should be no reason that this kid should be stronger then him. And there was no reason for her to be treating him like this on top of that.

Oh how he wished it was storming. Then he would really teach this girl a lesson for picking fights. But it wasn't so he' was going to have to do it the old fashion way. He held his hand out before him and tried to muster at least a little ball of lightning. "I can do that too," he teased trying to deflate her ego some.

"I don't make a habit of killing humans," Roka said. "But I cannot guarantee that you'll survive."

[Miyu]

"Life would be boring that way." She retorted also letting him know that she wasn't afraid.

Her eye's flickered to the group of demons as Arai called out to her at first she thought he was hurt but that obviously wasn't the case. She frowned as she tried to figure out what his problem was. "Just keep her from going any where ok!" She told Arai and focused back on the problem before her. "You know you are making my job super hard. This should have been a fucking piece of cake and here I am taking more time than I wanted to." Arai's predicament seemed to have changed her attitude about the fight. She had remembered that she was here for a reason and had more to worry about then having a good time. "One last chance to give up."

Her bow reformed itself and she drew it so an arrow of energy also formed. It was a thin arrow though not even half a shot for her but he wouldn't necessarily know that. If he tried to attack her or gave her any kind of negative answer she was going to shoot him that was all there was to it. If Koenma had a problem with that then tough he could come sort out his own messes.

[Arai]

This was starting to hurt. And that wasn't a good thing for Arai. Pain triggered a defense mechanism. The problem is that he didn't know what was causing the pain. He wasn't suppose to hurt one of them. One of them was suppose to come with Miyu and him. This was all just confusing, and he didn't even have a word for it!

The demon started growling as he was becoming angry. Why was this so hard? Nothing was suppose to be hard, but this was. And it seemed simple! Just keep her from going anywhere. Ok That he can do. Since he couldn't figure it out they both were going to stay still.

While growling he attempted at pinning the two of them to the ground. He wasn't being gentle like before, but he managed not to use claws this time.

[Rie]

This wasn't good. This demon was getting angry at the situation and was trying to pin both her and the kid to the ground. She was also cursing the human for telling him not to let her go.

This demon wasn't using claws to pin her, but she really didn't like being stuck underneath him. She thought out a plan, but knew it was mostly stupid.

If she transformed into her fox form, she could possibly be small enough to slip from his grip and make a run for it. She was faster in that form anyway. The only thing she would have to worry about right after changing would be to get off her back as soon as possible. She took a breath and turned took her fox form.

[Roka]

A fourteen year old not afraid of death? He has seen the teens on the street. They were worried about exams, tv shows, romance... Not about fighting, death, and demons. She wasn't much different then him, other then he lived in a feudalistic society that was threatened by demons as long as anyone could remember.

Roka flexed his fingers and absorbed the energy back into his hand. He wasn't sure how prepared she was to actually attack a human. Humans and Demons were different. Demons were more like insects. There is no emotion involved in killing them. A human however. But she seemed like she was ready to attack him.

"You don't plan on killing her do you," he said staring down the arrow back at her. "What is the point of letting a demon live? You even travel with one of them." He completely ignored her threat of this being his last chance to escape. If he had to he would track the fox down again. He did it once after all. But in the end, all that he needed he had.

[Miyu]

"Nope boss said this wasn't a killing kind of mission." She said though she was getting really annoyed with his talking. She wanted this to be over with but she didn't want to seriously hurt this guy unless he was attacking her or Arai.

"Besides look who's talking the kid isn't with her I can guess that much." What was this guy trying to pull exactly? Miyu couldn't figure out exactly what this guy's deal was and it was just getting her more and more frustrated. "For the last time, let me do my job and you can just go now." She was getting impatient with this. Miyu gave a small glance to Arai to see how he was doing and since he seemed to doing alright or as alright as he could be she put all her focus back on the grey haired guy.

[Sen]

When the newer demon started to growl Sen let out a whimper. He was scared out of his mind but he didn't want Roka to be mad at him. He tried to cling to the fox harder as the larger demon pinned him and the child let out a small cry of fear.

He was used to things like this. Things like this meant that sen got hurt because he got on the nerves of the person bigger and stronger than he was. It didn't even occur to him to call out for help, no one had ever helped Sen when he was going to be hurt, and why should they?If he was going to get in people's way then he deserved it.

[Arai]

Now it was changing? How is it doing that? Is that even possible? Obviously it was possible but how did she do it? The pain in his head was getting worse. It seemed that every time there was a rush of thoughts it hurt. He really didn't get it. But it seemed that it always hurt because of this... demon.

However, when the little one yelped he quickly let go of him, completely by accident. He wasn't suppose to hurt him. That is what Miyu said. Now his attention was divided, he didn't know how to keep them both still without hurting one. Arai did however keep his hand down on the small creature thing.

It felt funny in his fingers. He wasn't sure what it was but it was kind of nice. It kind of reminded him of the blankets Miyu let him use... and then not... Why was everything sooo confusing?!

[Rie]

Rei wasn't happy that this demon didn't let her go. She just couldn't seem to get away from him. What was the deal with everybody?! Why couldn't they just leave her alone?

She started squirming in the demon's grip and gave a yelping bark, trying to feign being hurt. He had removed his claws from her when she asked. If she got him to believe he was hurting her, hopefully he'll let go. If that happened, she should be able to get away.

She didn't know how fast this demon would be, but she would try to outrun him if she could. She would try anything to get away from everybody.
